I'm am soooo sorely tempted!! I know I'm waiting to get the Wii, but in the meantime, I thinking of getting the GH2, and combine that with a wireless guitar! (@_@):
Guitar Hero 2
When I become a guitar herione, I'll make sure to post a YouTube of myself.
Bah!! Why buy a fake guitar, practice like crazy and *pretend* you're a guitarist when you can buy a *real* guitar, practice like crazy and be a guitarist...
because fake guitar is easier! YEAH!
But it's also fake. That's why it's called a FAKE Guitar. For roughly $90-100 you can get a decent guitar, look up introductory exercises & tabs to your favorite songs on Google, and get started.
Plus, a real guitar's gonna last a lot longer than a fake one.
=^^=
and i will get so much more satisfaction from the fake guitar! fake guitar still in my favor!!
Feh... once you start playing a *REAL* guitar, you won't want to go back to any of that fake stuff...
=^^=
Haha!! I can't wait to play the fake one. I'll probably only learn a real one if I had a real instructor, but nope. Rather memorize my hirogana and katakana then my notes!
Okay, okay, so he's not so much a Guitar "Hero", he's more of a Guitar God.
=^^=
but come one, Laka-kun. you know you wanna try it? Ne!?
*ahem* "... once you start playing a *REAL* guitar, you won't want to go back to any of that fake stuff..."
I want to feel the pressure of strings on my fingertips as my hand runs up & down the fretboard, sense the pick plucking each and every individual string as I strum... I want to hear the guitar react to my each and every nuances as I play, be it a proper note or a mis-played one; for I hold in my hands, an instrument that defined a generation. Songs like "Paranoid" & "the Immigrant Song" inspired me to learn the guitar long before Guitar Hero (let alone Guitar Hero Part II) was a twinkle in a programmer's eye. Whatever little progress I make, whatever I learn to play; be it the opening notes of "Stairway to Heaven" or the riff from "Paranoid" or the oddly soothing "Embryo" is a tribute to the likes of Iommi, Page & Harris.
So there.
I'd still just rather fake it. Same as Karaoke Revolution, and DDR. I can't sing, can't dance, can't jam but I'll fake it!
So there.
...but everything I needed to know about dancing, I learned from DDR... And Karaoke. Where would my singing voice be without sweet, sweet Karaoke...? And Street Fighter II. Where would I be had I not learned to channel my Ki into destructive blasts of energy from Street Fighter II?
So... is that footage of you playing?
no. i haven't started yet. i just paid for my trip to florida and then i have my root canal to look forward to. so nope, not getting game use yet. but i know that it will be fun.
