  • Ninja Assassin

I was thinking of doing some reviews of movies for the horror movie website/blog. And I just jotted down some notes. Don't think its a good review. I didn't do much research on the director or the exe prod. Ninja AssassinWhat do I know about this movie?Rain (BiBi) - Korean Pop star with korean film and drama/soap opera experience. CGI blood - slots of it. And shoots of body parts and decapitation. Main characters: Rain and African-American Female. Rain's character is raised as ninja and female is an agent for Interpol's research department. The two bump heads when the lead female delves too much into the research of the involving assassinations and linking with the past usage of ninja clans to carry out these assignments. How did I feel after watching this movie?I definitely thought the CGI blood was over done. It was used excessively; comically spraying from wounds like pressure from a garden hose. There was enough back story to explain the lead character, Rain's role. Though they didn't elaborate on the origins of the Ninja clan itself. Not getting into too much detail, I felt that the theme of this movie was done before. Mostly targeted for movie goers who like martial arts action. A lot of it very humorous to the audience. There were a few holes in the story where certain characters were killed off. Also, why was a particular aspect of the story tied with the beginning introductions. Overall, it wasn't boring. It captures your attention if your interested in watching action films. Rating: 5/10
